I was determined to go into Alien: Romulus as blind as possible and I’m glad I did. After the more recent Alien-like sequels, I didn’t go in with much hope. Seeing Fede Alvarez directing it, I got my hopes up a little. After his take on Evil Dead I thought I was in for a good ride.
